Game play
Taking up the style of the game play as witnessed in the first game of the series, Need for Speed: Most Wanted has set new standards in the world of racing video games. There are three different types of events in which the player can participate by selecting one car of his own and competing against the rest of the racers. Firstly, sprint races involve racing from one location to the other location of the city. Secondly, there are circuit races which involve a total of three laps to be completed. Thirdly speed runs require the racer to complete the course in the highest speed and the quickest time possible. Furthermore ambush races increase the thrill of driving since the player is surrounded by cops and he has to drive in order to avoid being arrested.
